Handling a losing streak
Tilt is real. Here's the protocol for stopping the bleed before it ends your account.
A losing streak inside your normal win-rate variance is just statistics — three or four losses in a row happens even to a 50% win-rate strategy fairly often. The danger isn't the losses, it's the reaction: revenge sizing, abandoning the plan, or forcing trades to "get it back."
Protocol: after a defined number of consecutive losses (pick it in advance — three is common), stop trading for the session, review whether the losses were process failures or normal variance, and only resume at reduced size. The account survives the losing streak; it rarely survives the reaction to one.
